Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself in television. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. She moved to Texas to pursue an occupation as a physical therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas for a brief period prior to moving in Orlando Florida. She took on a variety of acting roles, including local independent films and commercials. She quickly found her passion to perform despite the minor roles. Then she moved to New York in 2001 and got her first job in acting on the soap as Rosa Santos on All My Children which is a soap for the daytime. In the beginning of 2000 She appeared on small part for JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. Her first major series appearance was on the short-lived 2004 television drama The Mountain.
