Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself in television. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. She moved to Texas to pursue an occupation as a physical therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas for a brief period prior to moving in Orlando Florida. She took on a variety of acting roles, including local independent films and commercials. She quickly found her passion to perform despite the minor roles. Then she moved to New York in 2001 and got her first job in acting on the soap as Rosa Santos on All My Children which is a soap for the daytime. In the beginning of 2000 She appeared on small part for JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. Her first major series appearance was on the short-lived 2004 television drama The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV celebrities like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. The most memorable part of her career was on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. The character she played on her Law & Order: LA spinoff was a short-lived. De La Garza was nominated for numerous Awards, including the Best Supporting Actress on TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as several ALMA Award nominations. The year 2008 was the time she won an Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for Outstanding performance for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a part-time role in CSI Miami a short time after. She was Marisol Deko, Horatio Caine's wife. Her most recent appearance on TV was as Doctor. Lena Solis on NBC's mildly more dark-hearted show Do No Harm. The series was cancelled after just two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She was born Italian with a 10 year old younger brother who is named Cory. She grew up in an environment that was strict and deeply spiritual. Milano was seven years older when her babysitter took Milano to a talent show. With more than 1000 applicants, she was chosen among only four. Milano appeared in TV commercials and off Broadway shows, including the American first musical adaptation to Jane Eyre.
